I'm Fernanda Diaz.

I'm the founder of Four Ferns Horticulture.

I've been fortunate to build my career across many areas of horticulture—from maintaining public parks for the City of Montréal and working in mushroom cultivation laboratories to installing green roofs and contributing to large-scale urban landscape projects. Each experience has given me a deeper appreciation for healthy plants, thoughtful design, teamwork, and the care that goes into creating outdoor spaces people genuinely enjoy.

Today, I bring all of that experience together through Four Ferns Horticulture. Whether it's regular garden maintenance, planting, or complete landscape projects, my focus is always the same: delivering reliable, high-quality work with care, attention to detail, and a personal touch. For smaller projects, you'll usually be working directly with me. For larger projects, I collaborate with a trusted network of skilled contractors from across the Wellington region, allowing us to take on projects of all sizes while maintaining the same level of quality and care.

As a team, we also offer optional 3D landscape visualizations for clients who'd like to explore their ideas before work begins. It's a great way to refine a design, plan with confidence, and ensure everyone shares the same vision before the project gets underway.
